Empty streets and store shelves fuel our fears. But watching our fellow Americans, our medical providers and our leaders tackle this crisis is inspiring. The visible displays of the greatness of our American culture of self reliance and free enterprise is inspirational.

I’m confident that Boise, the state of Idaho, and the United States will continue to lead the world economy after we solve the coronavirus crisis. We’ll use our capabilities for innovation, science and medical care within our system of free enterprise to solve the coronavirus crisis in unique ways that no one else in the world was able to do!

While our medical community and government leaders are solving this crisis, Spa 35 Medical Spa is supporting our community and our medical providers by pausing our delivery of cosmetic services.

Ensuring the safety of our clients and our team is of the utmost importance at Spa 35. We are closely monitoring information on the coronavirus and government actions to ensure the safety of our citizens, of our team members, and for the return of the robust economy we enjoyed a few weeks ago.

At some point in time we will leave our homes, return to work and reignite the social interaction that is our foundation of life.

Spa 35 Medical Spa is taking action to ensure that when this happens, and it’s the right time for your cosmetic services, Spa 35 is the right place!

Spa 35 is dedicated to be a leader in the highest possible safety and best cosmetic outcomes in our new coronavirus environment.

Here are some of the things we have done, or are planning to do, to ensure Spa 35 is the best possible environment for you and our team to receive and deliver cosmetic services:

  • Six feet of social distance. Spa 35 is prepared to support six feet of social distancing in the case it is still required after our shelter in place order is lifted. Our lobby is large, with able opportunity for clients and staff to remain six feet apart.

  • Sick policy for Spa 35 team members. Any Spa 35 team member who shows any symptoms of illness is not allowed in Spa 35. Temperatures for each team member are taken at the beginning of each day prior to contact with our clients.

  • Four medical grade air filtration systems to ensure the highest quality air during your visit. Spa 35 invested heavily fourteen years ago to ensure our laser treatment rooms each had an individual heating and air conditioning (HVAC) system with a unique air filter for each. We’re working with our building management (Rocky Mountain Management) to ensure our air filters are of the same quality used in medical facilities to ensure the highest possible air quality.

  • Five air exhaust systems. In addition to the individualized HVAC units Spa 35 also designed forced air exhaust systems in our facility to remove old air and maintain fresh air circulation. Each laser treatment room has a fan connected to an air duct that moves inside air to the outside of the building, pulling in fresh air.

  • Spa 35 has five medically certified people on the team. Three Registered Nurses and Two Nurse Practitioners. They are experienced and knowledgeable in infectious disease prevention and understand the steps necessary to minimize the risks of transmitting the coronavirus.

  • Professional cleaning service that has experience in medical cleaning requirements that is receiving additional training in coroanvirus sanitation. Though the coronavirus is primarily transmitted via airborne particles, it can also survive on surfaces. Our cleaning service has reviewed and upgraded our cleaning protocols to ensure we maximize the results of our sanitation efforts.

  • Professional laundry service that has implemented sanitation methods for our laundry. Spa 35 changes linens between clients. And we’ve worked with our commercial laundry service to for the highest possible sanitation. They are sanitizing and disinfecting all laundry equipment each day. The hottest water possible is used for each load of laundry. Extra wash and rinse cycles have been added. BORAX has been added to all pre-wash cycles. And laundry is dried on the hottest possible cycle.

  • Continuing education. The Spa 35 team is using this time to take the efficacy and safety of our services to the next level. We have outstanding resources from our vendors and Medical Spa resources and we’ll be using them to provide you even higher levels of expertise.

  • Webpages for our clients with the most recent information. I’m in the process of creating webpages with the latest coronavirus impacts to Spa 35 and our clients. This will include Frequently Asked Questions we are getting from our clients. As well as general information on the impacts of coronovirus on our delivery of services.

Spa 35 has been very fortunate. In April 2020, we celebrate 14 years helping people look and feel their best. While we take this pause in delivering services, it allows for time to think about how fortunate we have been to serve so many wonderful people.

All of us have many questions and challenges ahead of us. But in this time of crisis it is heartwarming to reflect on the wonderful people we have developed relationships, and to see how all Americans have participated in sacrificing things important to them for the greater good of all.
